Ralou is our older resident a 10 year old female, one of three puppies found tied in a white sack left by the side of the road. Vaso noticed the white bag moving, she stopped and saw one of the puppies pop her head out of the bag. Electra, Kanelitsa and Ralou were all saved that day. Little Kanelitsa suffered from asphyxia being the one at the bottom of the bag, but today they are beautiful healthy females. They were dumped because of their gender.

The shelters survival relies totally on donations. There is no help from the local municipality. There is no animal pound to take a stray or lost dog to. The responsibility falls on the shoulders of good humans like Vaso to try and help.
