Jason is Spitha’s son . He’s now 9 years old . Spitha was tied to a barrel her whole life till Vaso convinced her owner to give her up . She kept having litter after litter . Vaso neutered her and she is now in retirement. Jason, Fivos and Asteris are Spitha’s sons and at the shelter with their Mum Her last litter were the boys. The other two were adopted to loving homes.

The shelters survival relies totally on donations. There is no help from the local municipality. There is no animal pound to take a stray or lost dog to. The responsibility falls on the shoulders of good humans like Vaso to try and help.
