LASI is 3 years old when Vaso rescued her. This is her now. Poison bait was thrown around the town to kill off the strays. Vaso was feeding the three siblings outside her home. When the two brothers didn’t show Vaso went looking for them and found them dead from poisoning. Vaso found Lasi at the rubbish dump grabbed her to save her life before she succumbed to potential poisoning. She put Lasi in with Spitha who accepted her as her own.

Martha was rescued in September 2023 after she and her 3 siblings were found drowning when Storm Daniel hit Greece. Born to a stray Mum at the local cemetery stray colony her Mum went missing. So the four babies were rescued and are all thriving. Born July 2023 — Martha Kitten

The shelters survival relies totally on donations. There is no help from the local municipality. There is no animal pound to take a stray or lost dog to. The responsibility falls on the shoulders of good humans like Vaso to try and help.
